Well, that was weird. I've had my wifi password memorized for at least a decade and have rarely ever forgotten it. I just entered it a couple times a few days ago. I had to enter it again about 20 minutes ago and my mind was just blank. I could not remember it at all. After about ten minutes it finally came back to me. Odd. That's like forgetting your birthday or something.
I had something like that happen to me one time with my computer password I think, either that or my Runescape password. I think it's because it might be partly muscle memory for me more than something I have actually memorised. I noticed that trying to think about it also made it worse for some reason.

My brother actually has forgotten his birthday before. I don't know if he's forgotten it on the day before or not but he doesn't have it memorised in his head I don't think.

edit: I think it's because he has dyslexia it can apparently also impact memory and information processing.

It really do be the hope that zaps you. I was so confident in what I sent and my work overall, just to get smacked with two denials back to back within 5 minutes of each other. I haven't been this dejected in a while. Worst part is there are still two more looming. Ugh...

I did a colonoscopy prep like 2 weeks ago and I'm still thinking about that. I drank one cup of the Gavilyte prep they gave me. You're supposed to drink like a gallon of it. However I had the strongest reaction to just the one cup. Like it was insane. I turned red and hot. Threw up like 5 times. Hurt my eyes from throwing up.

I was worried about some potential nausea but this was more than I could have ever imagined. Something may be wrong with me... I did not read about anyone experiencing such a thing online. Anyway couldnt do my procedure 😅

My anxiety probably made things so much worse. I have such a huge fear of throwing up after my past experiences of food poisoning and the stomach bug. Me panicking surely didn't help

Im not over the event. It's still on my mind

Oh dear. This has me worried now. I have to get one next month and already have the same prep. I know from experience that my body does not throw up easily. By which I mean that I do get nauseated sometimes (and very easily) and feel like I might throw up but I don't actually throw up. And in fact like a year ago, I tried to make myself throw up with the finger thing because I thought i had accidentally swallowed a foreign object. Absolutely would not happen. My entire face had those little red spots on it from straining so hard.

Also, a few years ago, my dad had the same prep for his colonoscopy and was throwing up all night. Which I did know he threw up a few times but I didn't know he was throwing up all night. So when I took him to the hospital, he was still dry heaving. I had noticed that it looked like he was on the verge of having a seizure (he doesn't have a seizure disorder but I do and I know the symptoms). They didn't listen. He suddenly had one when we were sitting in the doctor's office talking to the doctor. I don't know why people don't listen when I warn them about things that I actually know. I told my mother before we left. I said "He's going to have a seizure. We should cancel this and take him to the ER". She just brushed it off.

Anyway, the point is that I guess he became easily dehydrated because of his age, which caused low sodium. Which caused a seizure. A pretty bad one.

Anyway, I've had a couple of colonoscopies previously but I used the Miralax method for those. This is the first time for this prep. I sure hope I don't have that reaction!

Do be sure to get yours done though. I wasn't in a rush to get my first one. They found a large polyp that they suspected to be a carcinoma. Fortunately, it turned out not to be but they said it would have been if left to change. Which is why I'm having to do another one. They have to make sure it didn't come back.

I would say don't worry. All I've read online is that my experience is rare. I don't know why it happened. I did chug down the one glass very quickly, I don't know if that was a shock to my system. But as soon as I turned red and hot I did freak out thinking I was having an allergic reaction. And then as soon as I realized I was going to throw up I started crying too so... that along with possible dehydration was probably multiple factors that just worsened things for me. My body was probably in fight or flight mode.

My mom has had multiple colonoscopies and never had any issues with the prep. I' sorry that happened to your dad 😔

The next prep I am being given pills. I hope that will be better

October should be sweet.

I kind of want to be a cross country truck driver. Not having a permanent home, Eating at rundown diners, never getting close to anyone, just myself and the open road. And hopefully die heart disease at 58...

A man can dream.

I saw all of those alerts and wondered what I did lol. Anyway my head has been in the clouds after someone unknowingly spoke a bit of life into me. I was going to quietly stew in elation over their words, but I had to let them know how much it meant to me. Now I'm hoping future conversations aren't awkward, because that level of transparency and emotional honesty isn't a norm for me.

really digging this billie eilish song, anyway looking forward to blogging again after a hiatus. ^_^
aaaaand dating again, I promised myself I would start dating again in the fall.

Sitting wating for a plumber to turn up to install new radiator. It's an 8 - 12pm window, so I won't relax until they have been and gone. I really don't enjoy having trades people, or anyone in my flat.

My car payment got taken out a few days ago, so that's going to make me want to work some hours this weekend. It's almost looking like I can't get any hours at all anymore. So I definitely don't have time for people outside of work to take advantage of me.
