when my anxiety gets really bad i just sleep all day until som1 calls me 2 do something, anyone else do that?:afr

wake up and smell the coffee my friends. i'll say this for the one person that will actually listen - try to get out of bed and do some yoga/stretching + meditation. You'll find that time slows down and you're actually ready to do stuff. You can even do simple stretching in bed, like scrunching your toes

Seriously. Try it. Once. What do you have to lose?

Sleeping is definitely a depression thing. I do it too when I'm depressed or unmotivated and it just makes me feel worse when I wake up and realize I slept the day away. Something unsettling about not being on 'regular' sleeptimes like the rest of the world. I noticed when I force myself to get out of bed, I am much happier, especially if it's to do something productive like workout, clean, spend extra time getting ready for the day, etc. Sleeping is a temporary solution that you don't even get to enjoy because you're sleeping while the 'solution' is occuring! Pfft.
