OK, so over the summer holidays i had some surgery done on my ears which meant i couldn't do any PE for about six weeks. of course this was great cos i hate PE, and none of my friends are in my class this year and i could just relax in my form teachers class, doing homework and drawing.

but, now that the six weeks are up, i'm going to have to start doing PE again......

I DON'T WANT TO DO PE.
does anyone have any tips on getting out of PE again? i only have 6 months of school left, but i don't want to suffer in those last 6 months. i know a few people but they all have their own friendship groups with them. also, there is know option of switching classes. HEEELLLP MEH!

Can you lie to them and say you're still hurt or still recovering?

What he said.

Or if you truly do not want to do P.E. you can always "accidentally" slip and break your armnot leg, maybe wrist.

I ditched my HS PE class one too many times and, since it was required to graduate, I ended up having to re-take it in summer school or night school before graduation. My parents couldn't afford summer school so I took it in night school, going to a high school across town a few evenings/week for a semester. It was WAY better than the PE in school. It was mind-numbingly boring since all we did was walk laps around the halls of a darkened high school or bounce basketballs around in a gym, but there were other loners and people who had dropped out for various reasons and were in GED programs or in night school full-time, so the whole thing felt a lot more comfortable and less clique-ish. Everyone was there to get it over with, not try to make friends or show off. I don't think there were even any "jock" types in my class.

i was super lucky that my school only required one semester of it for graduation. so the only time i had to do PE was in 5th grade and then again the last semester of 12th grade. plus the coach i had was very lazy and rarely cared what we did so i spent a lot of time walking around the track in peace or sitting in the bleachers reading.

reason 45980090987 i am glad i am not a guy is f***ing gym class i swear. i can't imagine the special kind of hell that must be. it was bad enough to be a sweaty 10 year old girl trying to run track. mix puberty up with that sh*t? hell NO

yeah, I get you, it sucks. are you bad at phys ed? because I disliked it since I was shy and so incredibly horrible at sports.. but in high school gym (first year) wasn't too bad because there were some people that also sucked at sports and it was chill. right now I am concerned about my health, I'm kind of skinny but I'm rotting on the inside
but I think you might as well just go to class, you know some people, just say hi to everyone and hang around them and stuff. maybe you'll get into a little group or something, especially if you're new to the class there's a higher chance you'll get in w/ the groups. but you don't have to, just converse with people a little so you can drag through. will it really be that bad?

Use the period excuse. Gets 'em every time haha

In all honesty, I'm petrified of doing PE. I'm actually willing to not do it for the entire year and I'm willing to let that grade drop into oblivion. Usually by the end of the year it all somehow works out. I (thankfully) had a teacher that somewhat understood my fear and ended up giving me a 3 (equivalent to a C) so that I could pass. Maybe you can try this, as well?

I feel you. I'm TERRIFIED of PE class because whenever I panic I suddenly forget how to move and I just stand there looking stupid while everyone gets angry at me lmao. Luckily at my school if you've got a 'confirmation' from a doctor you can easily get out of PE. Last year I just went to my normal doctor, showed him my therapy documents and stuff and he wrote a 'letter' that I could bring to school. This year I'll try to attend PE class but my teacher said that I should get a ....partial exemption? so I can decide by myself what I can and what I can't do

i couldnt avoid PE unfortunately, but i plucked up the courage and asked a nice girl in maths class if i could go with her and her friends and she seemed ok with it.
and plus one lesson every two weeks, another pe class joins us which is the class with 3 of my good friends in it :) :) :)
