I have just ordered Isopropylphenidate for my ADD symptoms which are not completely solved with Nardil. I will take it 2-3 times per week, on the other days i will take modafinil.
Isopropylphenidate a piperidine-based stimulant drug which is closely related to methylphenidate. It has similar effects to methylphenidate but with a longer duration of action.
Here are some reports from reddit:
I've been using iph as a functional stim for a few months, and I have to say it beats the hell out of ritalin or adderall. With other stims the rushy fun gets in the way of functional usage. Even a.t fairly high dose (I did 100mg at once to test the waters), iph dosnt get overly euphoric.
IPH is great. Very fair side effects for a stimulant, I never feel like it takes away more than I get from it.
It's amazing how differently wired people are. On Ritalin, I actually get tired for some reason! EPH/IPH both get me in a 'git'er done' type attitude pretty well. Liking IPH better than EPH and MPH by far because its just so darn functional and for me, it lasts 5 hours which is ideal for me. edit: forgot to mention I've never had a comedown off IPH
I have tried this new compound and it has very smooth clean effect, lasts about 3hrs or more does' nt burn that much looks llike cocaine as well.nice compound not jiettery or anxious at all
It's remarkably different from most other stimulants I've tried. In comparison it has less stimulation and less of the usual stimulant side effects for me like vasoconstriction, nausea, constantly feeling like having to go to the toilet for either number 1 or 2 or anxiety in general. However, the euphoria is weaker too.
I've found isopropylphenidate to be good as a therapeutic RC stim. Less euphoria than I get from adderall/racemic amphetamine, but definite increase in focus. It's an interesting chemical, very subtle. I don't feel "****ed up" like I do on other stimulants. I also find the comedown to be really okay. No depression/"feeling of impending doom" like with large doses of adderall or cocaine. I know the molecule is closer to methylphenidate, but I have never tried ritalin so I can't provide a direct comparison.
The answer is yes, IPH is probably the most functional RC stim on the market right now and yes, it's probably better for use at work or school than anywhere else and yes, it's perfect for tedious or difficult mental tasks like memorizing slides. It is very similar to ritalin but longer lasting. Compared to amphetamine stims it has less physical stimulation and more mind-focus
I will report my experience here when i get it.
