Well all you hear about is marcos for protein carbs and fat, and what not. but my question is what is the max mg of salt we could take in or how much we should not exceed. I myself try to stay away from salt all together i dont even season my food with salt but its kinda hard because even protein shake contain salt so what is the max amount.

the body only needs 1500 mg or so a day so staying around that is the best but as long as you're not going over 2000 you will be fine.

i consume 2.5g just from the ham i eat every day, dont have a problem yet.
oh wow that is pretty unhealthy and that's not even considering the daily part.
and the reason you don't have a problem yet is because of your age.

Salt is a learned craving. We need it of course, but sodium is naturally occurring so you can get adequate sodium without eating added salts daily. But since salt is in everything, even where it's not needed, our taste for it dulls and we need more and more in order to get the salty sensation from food. If you eat less, then you need less. I don't need salt at all now (except peanut butter, I tried that without salt and it just does not work in any way).
