GABA Promoting Stack

I wonder if anyone tried - or considers patently dim-witted - a stack tackling the GABA system with different mechanisms, that may be too weak or tolerance developing individually but could have synergistic, tolerance avoiding (?) effects in combination:

- GABA transaminase inhibition: Melissa officinalis (lemon balm), Phenelzine
- Upregulation of GABA production: L-Theanine
- Upregulation of GABA receptors: Bacopa Monnieri, Kava Kava, Fasoracetam, Tranylcypromine
- GABA enhancement/NMDA antagonist: Magnesium

If still too weak:

- Upregulation of GABA transport/production: Pregabalin, Gabapentin
- GABA agonist: Baclofen, Phenibut
- GABA enhancement: Benzodiazepine

Disclaimer: Since too much GABAergic neurotransmission can lead straight into the hospital or morgue, one should of course always start with sub-therapeutic doses and slowly dosing up (and after consulting one's doctor 0:)).

I hope you're not suggesting taking all of that together. The side effects would be hell, for one. And you don't know how they interact. Taking Parnate and Nardil together destroys Nardil's GABA effect, for example.

Just start with Nardil. It alone will be challenge enough.

Well, I'm suggesting one of each mechanism of action, with some examples that came to my mind. You're certainly right that not all combinations make sense, like Parnate and Nardil; one has to sort those out according to one's best knowledge.

Nardil is not available in some countries (including mine), but I'm also not sure that its GABA-T inhibitation on its own is long term sustainable, as the excess GABA could result in downregulation of the receptor density or something.

So a realistic stack could be something like lemon balm + L-Theanine + Bacopa Monnieri/Fasoracetam + Magnesium (+ Baclofen/Pregabalin).

I take valerian root extract, magnesium, l-theanine and gamma-aminobutyric acid together. The result is actually kind of nice. I do sleep a lot though, but that's fine right now while I'm body building and getting used to not taking Valium after using it for 10 years.

how long do you take it, with stable efficiency? that's an interesting stack, I'm only missing something for receptor upregulation. On the other hand, if you were used to valium, there may not much more to downregulate anyway and it is still recovering.

Does anyone have experience with L-theanine and Nardil combination?

Also if you want a good GABA stacker, check out the supplement Theanine Serene. It's a combination of Magnesium, GABA, L-Theanine, Taurine, Relora, and Holy Basil Leaf Extract. I used to take it before I went to sleep but it was also decent for anxiety

I'm just curious what or why one would do a gabapentin stack do you have anxiety issues or social issues your stack is pretty impressive however l theanine has a amazing amazing profile in writing but does not live up to it I found it uselesd definatly lije the phenibut idea but im a nrwbie hete vety vety curioue on the need for such s intense gaba stack
