Since Zoloft is too expensive here for the dosage I am taking right now (100mg), my doctor prescribed me a different brand, which is not generic, and which contains the same active ingredient. My question is: does it work the same? Does anyone here take sertraline that's not Zoloft?

The non branded (generic) versions should work in exactly the same way, if I understood the question correctly

.I think that generics in the US are not very thightly regulated. Meaning they could work as well as Zoloft, or not. Hard to say. This forum is not filled with pharma nerds which I like. If you go to places with pharma nerds, be careful with their advice. Some of them essentially arrogate themselves to be able to treat people online without a medical degree and training.
