Thought I'd share this for those of you who did not know this yet:

What is the importance of magnesium?
Magnesium is a natural tranquilizer. It relaxes the muscles, nerves and blood vessels and gives more energy.
In stress symptoms Magnesium plays an important role. Magnesium deficiency may underlie depression and associated mental health problems.

Complaints to magnesium deficiency
general

stiffened, indurated and cramped muscles
tense nerves
fast and chronic fatigue
overstrain
exhaustion
restlessness, lethargy and a vitality-
irritability
feeling cold due to poor circulation
dizziness

specific

headache (pressing / pounding)
migraine
menstrual complaints
sleep disorders, usually with bad dreams
sensitive to noise and (bright) light
depression, anxiety and phobias
palpitations and feel pain around the heart area
various allergic reactions
intestinal cramps
hyperactivity

Just keep in mind not to take any excess of it. Of course the general law as you know is not to take in too much of anything. :)

get it naturally like from pumpkin seeds rather than a tablet supplement I'd say.

That is kind of obvious don't you think? I never wrote 'tablets' or 'supplements'. That's why I listed the list of natural food where magnesium occurs.
