My husband used to managed a casino when he got out of the Navy,(hotel, Lord, someday someone is going to be reading these post "I think I know who she is!)............Actually that pay is pretty good for starting out.. You really have to consider the benefits.......If the're half way acceptable..........There's advancement...........It may look like fun.........Granted, "This one" was "Tribed owned" (no, I'm not Indian) and there was a lot of bull to put up with........After a while, most jobs get "Boring"

I don't know what wage you want to start out at.......Or what area you live in......I would think, some money coming in would better than none..............You have to do what you want in life........But you have to start, no one is going to offer you 45k a year starting out...........

OK........I know you graduated college..........Along with many, many other people.........The job market is really tough right now (I know how abrubt I sound........I don't mean to............I see some of the old me in you.........) what work experience to you have in your field? What do you have as a skill that others don't that you graduated with that are applying for the same jobs? Where do you want to be in 20 years......... What do you want to specialize in? Is it something you'll want to do for 20 years........

Do you take benefits into consideration? Please know the value of great benefits, it's not a given anymore............

ALL jobs are important........From the janitor on up to the CEO.......With out one, the other can't fuction.....Never place yourself above anyone.....You never know what the future holds, trust me on this one! In fact, I've learned many "Blue collared" people should be earning a lot more........Just because they didn't go to college doesn't mean..........

Your living expenses are low right now because you're living with your parents.......... If an employer would happen to say "How have you been living since leaving college" what would you say (IE, living, supporting yourself).............

I read a post once "And these were jobs interviews where you needed degrees" I heard these questions.........

My bf works at a casino. I pretty much see it as a good job where you have to interact with alot of people, but for his work you also have to have a good memory.

He started out as a dealer (it's important to know the games played on all the tables and worked his way up.) I think his wage is pretty good since he still lives at home.

He loves working there. He's worked there for about five years and would like to maybe go into management one day. He dreams big. :)
