I've had fear of public speaking for a while now, and as time passed, I got more and more anxious and nervous whenever I had to give a speech in front of the class.
It got to a point where I looked and acted really awkward before, during, and after giving the speeches.
The thing that surprises me is that after I give the really awkward presentation, my classmates have a look of disdain towards me.
Some people stopped talking to me altogether or always looked and acted awkward around me.
I don't think it's a bad thing to be a crappy public speaker, but there are some people who treats you like s*** because that.
Anyone else experience something similar?

I think you just had a bad class.. When I needed to speak in public, the teachers mostly said i could sit down and even turn my back to the audience. One time they even put out the light and agreed to put there heads down, facing the ground, so they would not stare at me directly.

Better luck next year, that's all I can say. Some people are just like that.
