That must have cost a lot back then. Do you remember how much it was?And then my dad got me a Playchoice 10 arcade machine in the early 90's that had Double Dragon, Contra, Mike Tyson's Punchout, Wild Gunman, and Rad Racer on it. He had the guy make it where you didn't have to put quarters in to play.
I fell in love with that game right away. I remember renting a Nintendo and Metroid and Karnov at the video club and i played the game all day until i finished it. And the ending blew my mind when i saw all that time I was playing with a girl lol.^ That reminds me. I really enjoyed Metroid at the time. I don't remember if I ever actually had my own NES or not (if I did it was probably when they were no longer the it console) but I knew some people who had one and I remember playing Metroid for many hours.
No, I have no idea. Was only about 10 years old at the time. I remember going to pick it up. My dad was friends with the guy that owned the local Diary Queen and we went to a building next door to it. He had quite a few different arcade machines in it. Knowing my dad he probably traded car parts or did some welding for the guy in exchange for it.That must have cost a lot back then. Do you remember how much it was?
