What is someone supposed to do if they lost their yearbook and class picture and the school doesn't have any more copies of it? Is the publisher of the yearbook supposed to keep the yearbook for these situations?
No one is responsible for keeping extras around in case you lose yours. If the school does not have any left to sell then that's that. The publisher has no reason to keep any around beyond what the school ordered and maybe 1 for their records.
i was an editor at my high school yearbook for a few years, we had a ridiculous amount of leftover yearbooks going back several years. a lot of us even took an old yearbook or two. if you really want one you might ask your school to hook you up.
