I feel I need someone that will help draw down an action plan to follow to get myself out of my anxiety. I need to see the steps that I've achieved and keep pushing forward but I need help doing it. What kind of a therapist would help me this way?

I am already getting counceling which is helping, but it is very very very slow. I've been going every week for 4 months and I'd say my anxiety has improved about 1 or 2% at most (noticable because I am in a place of such extreme social anxiety I can barely even talk to my own dad).

So what kind of therapist would help me in this way?

Sounds like you'd be looking for a therapist who specializes in CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), look it up if interested.

Anyways, feel free to email them telling them what you want to accomplish and if they think they could help you. I did this, but by phone, which is another option.
