I refuse to ever get a credit card. If I don't have the money, I don't get the item. (different for buying a house however).

No credit card, but my student loans are going to be pretty big once school is done.

Due to a mixup with the city, I had to pay late taxes with a penalty (they got me confused with my father) - That pushed me over $3,000 for the first time ever this month. I am now down to $2,600 and plan to pay even more off this month. This is my only credit card, by the way. My credit limit still isn't that high either - nowhere near $10,000. I actually should have a credit card like that, but decided a long time ago that I wouldn't bother.

I have had my credit card for 11 1/2 years and have never asked for a limit increase. :(

0. I figure credit cards are for the rich who simply don't want the hassle of mucking around with cash. I just can't afford to own one.
