Yesterday - Ran about 5.5 miles early evening. Pretty sure my fitness tracker is over-calculating the distance. Probably 5 miles to be more accurate. Both my dog and I were pretty tired afterwards the rest of the evening.

Today - Hoping to go to the gym followed with a long walk afterwards.
Dog was probably back there thinking "Where the hell are you going? I'm dying here!"

Yeah she's getting old, so I likely have to drastically shorten her jogs pretty soon. At least I have been running slower and slower gradually in recent years myself as well.
Seriously though. It's pretty amazing how well dogs adapt to pretty much anything their owners do. They just kind of accept it. I watch a guy on Youtube who's always doing crazy stuff with his dogs hanging around. They usually look pretty wary when he first starts whatever it is and then eventually they just kind of have the look of "Well, I guess he does that now so I'm gonna go over here and chill and watch".

Saturday: Did a 7.2 mile hike.
Sunday: Went to the gym and took a 2.5 mile walk.
Monday: 4 mile run. (legs felt like stiff stone pillars the whole time).
Mine always feel like that. I have perfected the low calorie shuffle where I use just enough muscle movement to provide adequate locomotion from one place to the other. I probably have leg muscles that haven't moved in 20 years.
