I'm looking forward to using the treadmill again. Now that I have a corner in the basement to workout in, I'm going to start the C25K again. I did it before, so I think it'll be easy enough. I remember how good it felt. I have to find the weights too, I think they're in my brother's old room. I might buy a couple kettle weights. And I should bring down my resistance bands. Maybe I'll buy a bench at some point too. Sorry, I'm rambling about nothing. I just want to feel better.
When I commit to cardio it always adds a positive boost into my life, it's rare for me to do it but when I do it's effective, it makes me feel good, and when I'm also committed to weight lifting to the point that it shows results it's a great confidence booster. If you have the motivation on hand you should take advantage of it, there's nothing to lose and plenty to gain.

Unfortunately, it's not going to work out with the current treadmill. It's super old and, not electric. The incline is too steep and I can't adjust it. So I need to look into a new one, but it's going to be pricey. I guess my new laptop can wait. But I bought a kettle weight today. So I'll start using that, and get back to the calisthenics. I'm a bit disappointed though.

With you on this, lol
I wrote that as they had a little segment on the TV here about some guy in Singapore that makes asmr noises on Youtube or something - I found the whispering particularly annoying. I can't believe people find that soothing because it made me want to break the television.

I would've never guessed that the closer I get to my modest idea of success, the more afraid I am. Strong underlying belief that things don't work out for me and things won't last. Thank goodness for therapy. One step at a time.

The blog section of this site's gone right?

No. It's HERE

It's different though. Now it works just like a normal forum section and you can't make your blogs private or anything like you used to be able to.

Thanks! Are the blogs from the old blog section available anywhere? Or just the ones listed in that forum?
I think all the blogs from the old blog section got moved there. Or at least mine did.
When the forum software changed, the original blog section was converted to a subforum and hidden from the list of forums on the SAS Board Index. When we weren’t sure what was going to happen with it, I created a new subforum to replace the blogs, not realising the first one still existed.

This means we had two Blog forums. I have unhidden the original one and merged them, so all of the blog posts are here now:

I've been thinking about a lot of nostalgic moments I had when I was growing up. For example, the mall. The malls are less crowded than they used to be. Times are changing, but I wish not everything would be done electronically. I think this is why not many people are social anymore. I'd go on more about this, but I'll stop there.

Absolutely agree, I walk through my town centre and it's dead and all the stores are closing down. There used to be a huge department store in the middle of town, ever since I was a boy, but that's closed down now and abandoned and it looks awful for visitors.

It's becoming very unrecognisable, eg. one pub I used to visit literally got turned into a mosque, the cinema I went to as a kid got turned into one of those new modern churches with dry ice and flashing disco lights and stuff lol. Everything else gets turned into an Eastern European grocery store or a takeaway selling kebabs and fried chicken. I've no problem with that, but it is very different from the town I grew up in, which I sometimes feel nostalgic for.

The surrounding villages are okay and are rich as they are full of wealthy retirees. But where I live is turning into a bit of a ghost town. Everybody stays home and worries about how poor they are :(

It's funny how the sound of a goose honking really close sounds like the noise is almost electronic in nature. There were a bunch of them right outside my window earlier when I woke up and it sounded like they were inside the room with me. Such a strange sound.
HONK HONK HONK! :p

That's sick! Congrats! I made a space invaders-type Star Wars game for the blackberry back when I was learning how to program.
Much appreciated!
