I've never found a fiction book specifically about social anxiety but I have read ones that deal with issues similiar to what most of us go through.
Some of my favorite books are:

Wintergirls by Laurie Halse Anderson
Speak by Laurie Halse Anderson
Hold Still by Nina LaCour
and finally
The Perks Of Being Of A Wallflower

Any recommendations?

Try Wonder When You'll Miss Me by Amanda Davis (one of my favorite books ever) and She's Come Undone by Wally Lamb.

I'm going to recommend these 4 based on your likes:

Where the Heart Is by Billie Letts

Lucky by Alice Sebold (this is a biography about the author's rape as a college student, but it is EXCELLENT).

The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath

Room by Emma Donoghue

also going to suggest joining goodreads.com, can find tons of book reviews & other recommendations on there.
