I have a lot of free time on my hands. I read. I like cooking. Obviously I can't bungee jump or do a lot of group things. I was thinking of Tai Chi. Any ideas?
I have a lot of things. I have an old car that I am in the process of restoring. This is a great break from the stresses of the day because it puts me out of reach of everyone. Beyond that, I work on photography and video projects. I like to cook, too, but I'm not very good. I pretend to be good a Cajun cuisine ;-)
I think that photography is probably one of the best ways of expressing creativity - at least for me.
Actually I was starting to think the same thing! I just did a list of all the tourist sites in the city I live in. I think I'm going to take a camera like someone else suggested and just start taking pictures of all these locations.
I think I'll start on Monday. We may be leaving town in another year or so, so maybe down the road I might appreciate having these pictures.
Okay, i'm 17, and a couple of my hobbies may seem weird, but here goes..
MUSIC,
travelling around my town on buses, alone, with my music (i am yet to find anything more fulfilling!)
being with people that i love, that feel comfortable around,
spending lots of time on the internet (various forums, facebook, youtube..),
sleeping on my trampoline (if it's sunny),
that's what makes me happy..
Along the same lines as geocaching, hiking is a rewarding pasttime (if you live reasonably close to mountains). Since my kids were born I have been missing it.
I have a strange fondness for answering people's questions on yahoo answers. :blank It can be good though when they reply back and tell you you're really helped them. Plus some of the questions are just downright entertaining (honestly, I think some people go on that site and ask a question before they even think about it themselves).
I love photoshop, I'm on it all the time. I also like making videos. I'm really into editing them. I used to make a lot of montages just out of random footage I'd shot.
I love wasting time on websites like www.mylifeisaverage.com and of course the old favourites, youtube, myspace, ect. But even places like neopets can be fun for the games (and I'm unashamed in saying this because I've known of many other older people going there, haha).
I also love photography, reading and writing... sometimes if I don't feel comfortable going into shops I'll just window shop. :clap And I like browsing clothes shops online too. Even if I rarely buy things that way, it can be fun. And I can spend forever looking on www.cafepress.com too. :yes
