Went for a run

...and I hate, hate, hate the thought of people seeing me and pitying the fat, red faced, sweaty girl. But I really wanted to tire myself out and get that comfortable, worn out, feeling, so I went and did it anyway :)

Ok, it was more like four short bursts of running interspersed with a lot of walking, because I'm really not that fit, but what I need to do now is keep this up!

I love that runner's high too. I've been wanting to get out and run lately, but my anxiety has been too bad.
i always put music on and run at midnight that way no one is looking at you and if you come across some people they will probley be drunk or high anyways and if your listening to music while you run espically at night your kinda in your own little world. its kick ***.
Congrats! :)
don't lose that feeling. this is the motivation that most people lack when they decide to lose weight

Sounds great! Unfortunately, if I went running in this city at midnight with my ears plugged in to an MP3 player, I'd be at too high a risk of getting mugged, raped and/or murdered! Not kidding. It's got to be daylight for me, but I don't mind so much, it's nice to be out in the sunshine :)

lol wow. do you run with sunglasses on? i think that would be important so people don't see where you were looking. i have problem with looking people in the eyes but if i have glasses on it would be like wearing a mask almost.
I do like the anonymity of sunglasses, but I don't need them. It's more the thought of people looking at me and judging me that I don't like - I do get very red-faced and sweaty! I'll maybe put up pic in the "worst pics" thread... I managed not to think about it though, and going out was totally worth it.
I tried to run, but sadly, I managed to place somewhere over sixteen minutes during a timed mile-and-a-half run, even though I appear to be in average physical condition.
Nice one, always good to get healthy = One less potential problem.

I really need to start running again.

Fat? You sure don't look fat in the pictures I seen of you.
Thats great!
I would really want to be brave and run right now too.
I miss running!
