For the uninformed that's a line from a great movie called "Waiting". I'm working at handling my SA by exposing myself to people and situations id normally run away from. I currently work at a carwash and I don't feel this job gets any sort of respect. I do enjoy customer service, which is why i worked at a call center for three years but the place is run by an ******* and I've learned pretty much all there is to learn in a place like this.

I'd like to work in a kitchen, like a restaurant or cafe. It would give me something to be proud of and i enjoy the cooking process.

I was wondering, have any of you worked in a kitchen as a prep cook or a waiter or dish washer? How did it go? How do you get a job like that? do i just walk in and ask them or should i call?

Thanks for reading guys.
