Has anyone else ever put some effort into upgrading their voices and their resonance etc...? I think this would be a very worthwhile use of time as I would guess many of us have weak, trembling voices. I've read that some psychologists say the 'voice is the greatest communicator of who you are' And its way too often Ill find myself out at a semi loud restaurant or venue and I just wish to myself I could snap a finger and just get naturally and comfortably louder.

I'd love to have a strong, confident voice, so that people would hear me when I talk. At the moment I have a soft, mumbling voice that noone hears when I speak. I just don't really know how to go about changing the way I speak. I did buy a Roger Love book "Set Your Voice Free", but it didn't seem to help.
