This weekend I drove up to my old school, JMU, to visit some friends that I made before I had to drop out for a year because of depression. It was an awkward experience at first, but I think it helped me to get some closure on the experience at JMU. I was open enough to talk to them a bit about my depression, and I even went to two parties. I didn't have the courage to really talk to anyone at the parties, but I spent time with my friends.

The trip home was kind of depressing though. I miss the university atmosphere, and the fact that I felt like I could connect with people there. JMU gave me friends and an education. My community college only gives me the BS classes that any degree requires.

But, oh well, at least I made another step forward.
