I like the Transactional Analysis model, and find it really helpful in therapy. However, remembering to use it to assess my thinking/feelings in real life just doesn't seem to click. As soon as I feel anxious, its like I lose the ability to process correctly.

Anyone found similar, or worked out how to make things that work in therapy work in real life?

I don't go to therapy, but I do use music a lot to regulate my thoughts, be it to become more negative, or more positive. If I'm in a situation I'm uncomfortable with, I just start humming or singing a theme from either of the categories, and my personality kinda kicks into that mode. If that is actually good for my mind, only time will tell.

Antagonistic/ Bad guy-ish:

Sonic Generations- White World (Perfect Chaos)
Sonic Generations- White world (Death Egg Robot)
Sonic Generations- Egg Dragoon Remix
Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood Ost- Main Theme
Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood Ost- Lapis Philosophorum
Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood Ost- Requiem for the Brigadier General
Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood Ost- Consonance
Tales of Vesperia Ost-Sleeping Thousand years (This name changes, so I don't know the precise name)
Final Fantasy X (10) Ost- A fleeting dream/ Someday the dream will end
Klonoa- King of Sorrow's theme

And many others...

Happy:

Sonic Generations- Speed Highway (Modern)
Sonic Generations- Speed Highway (Classic)
Final Fantasy X (10) Ost- Movement in green/Sprouting
Final Fantasy X (10) Ost- A fleeting dream/ Someday the dream will end
Final Fantasy 3- Boss theme, Final Boss theme, and Normal Battle theme
The sixth opening of Bleach
The second opening of Bleach
Eat my Goal- Collapsed lung
Tales of Vesperia- Pleasant Intrigue
Final Fantasy IX (9) Ost- You're not Alone (Title says a lot about SA lol)
The world ends with you Ost- Twister
Mario series- the Starman theme (da da da ...)

And many others

As you can see, I like video game music! But yeah I don't know if that helps, but the more you know I guess.
