Anyone find this to help with their anxiety as well as mood swings?
I just started but aside from feeling a bit tired, not too much of a difference.
It seems to make insomnia worse too...

used to take 750mg/day of trileptal. honestly, i thought it was useless.. its supposed to be helpful for bipolar disorders though. neurontin was good for anxiety for me, as far as anticonvulsants go.

If I had to put it in two words: Sugar Pill. If I had to put it in one word: Placebo...

... Trileptal definitely had no improvement whatsoever for fighting my SAD, only a few lucky ones may benefit. I, however, respond rather poorly (or in this case not at all) to the mood-stabilizing/anticonvulsant type drugs.

It (and its predecessor, Tegretol) would probably be useful for further deadening my emotions, but that's fairly self destructive and probably not the best idea for people who still have a shot at happiness :b

lol, it does seem to blunt emotions a bit. I guess that's the point, not to over react (or with this not react at all..) I'm taking tryptophan hopefully to counter too much of that deaden effect.
