I don't know if we're talking about the same show. The one I watch consists of a bunch of British people. There's this older guy psychic, and the host is a blonde woman. Nothing ever happens when I watch. It's always like, "Please, make a sign that you can hear us!....Please? Hello? Omg! I think I see something!" And it always ends up being a mop with a bucket on it, or something. I like the old guy. He always comes up with the coolest stories. I do believe in ghost. I just don't believe in British people.

lol, i love those shows but at the same time, scared to death of them. i saw the one where they were in the castle and some guy was talking to this lady/queen/ some kind of royal person who was haunting the castle b/c her son died or something. it was freaky how he "communicated" to her.

Those shows don't inintially scare me. But I always wake up in the middle of the night and I just know if I look at the dark corner of my bedroom there's going to be a creepy little man with a knife, but he always runs away by the time I turn my light on. Lol, just joking about the little man.

Yea I watch those shows. I try to watch them before bed with the lights off to try and get the full scarred effect. It usually never works though because the paranormal investigators on these shows are so fake. It's obvious too that they fake most instances as well which always end up making me mad and changing the channel...

Derek Acorah's new spinoff show, Ghost Towns, makes it's U.S. debut on the Travel Channel tonight, immediately following Most Haunted.

I'm usually into these kinds of shows, having seen both Ghost Hunters and Most Haunted, it's usually drawn out and boring though, you never see anything out of the ordinary (obviously), i do like to hear about people's stories. I remember watching a ghost show about a woman who was haunted by a creepy old man that sat on her bed every night and threatened her, that really freaked me out how she described it, they actually showed a supposed clash with a poltergeist when a man got scratched and hung up by a poltergeist, it was the only real ghostly thing i've seen on t.v but i still wonder if it was a set up.

I've become addicted to these shows now, actually travel channel in general. Anyone see the episode where they're talking to John Hay Williams with the table shaking and then you see it get flung at the one guy. It was cool. :popcorn I know it's an old episode.

Oooh I love this show~ I was kind of disappointed with Derek's new show, Ghost Towns. The segments are really short and seem a bit overdone. I do like Most Haunted a lot though. I think Yvette is hilarious! She's always screaming and running away from things. lol

Yvette is pretty hilarious. I haven't seen Ghost Towns yet, but I'm going to catch it tonight. I wonder, is Derek going to still be on the original show? I heard he left.

Most Haunted Friday :banana
Oh no~ :cry I hope Derek didn't leave Most Haunted, he's one of the main reasons I keep watching it. :fall

The Ghost Towns show was interesting tonight. I found it kind of odd that more activity seems to happen on that show than on the Most Haunted show. It makes me think some things are questionable.. :stu Still, it all seems pretty convincing.

Ghost towns wasn't too bad, it was very convincing. I started cracking up when Derek called the host a **** :lol
I know! That was great. :popcorn She seriously looks like a Barbie doll to me, just the way she has her hair and the clothes and makeup that she wears. :sus :lol

I loved "Scariest Places on Earth". Have you guys seen that? Those places were awesome, those castles.. Made me want to go to Scotland and stuff. I know those castles are like bed & breakfasts and stuff, but at night it's a different story :lol

I don't even think I believe in ghosts or a "spirit world", but I WANT it to be true, so that's why I watch. Hoping for some awesome proof of something. I saw a video once online of a door slamming shut. Yeah I know anything could have done that, but it was still cool to see :)

I also liked Fear. The one where they made the guy lay in the morgue drawer for a half hour or something was great :lol

Most Haunted is pretty tame to me.. I don't watch it too much. And that psychic is annoying :D

Derek has gone all crazy and getting possessed and stuff, which makes Ghost Towns more entertaining than Most Haunted to me. :popcorn Still not sure if I buy into those possession acts, but I suppose it's possible. I think it's good they have a skeptic explaining things because I think it's good to hear from both perspectives.
