Ok, I know this probably sounds trivial, but here it is anyway. I bought a loaf of bread yesterday, paid $4.00 for it. Expiration date was June 16. This morning, I opened the bread to fix my boyfriend a sandwich to take to work, and discovered that more than half of the bread is moldy. I dug the receipt out of the trash, and plan to take it back to the store and demand a refund, or an exchange. Does this sound petty? Should I just let it go? After all, $4.00 is a lot of money for some people (me included) and I don't like getting ripped off. On the other hand, I would have to deal with the anxiety of dealing with the clerk at the store. Do you guys have problems with things such as this?
