You have to learn to say to yourself....
"so what"
"who cares"
"it's no big deal"

what they are thinking is likely not we think they are thinking.

Focus on what's going on around you. Shift your focus away from your thoughts and feelings to those of others. Partake, don't just observe, in what's going on in your environment. Try to free yourself from your own prison that you've built in your mind.

i always think to myself, another person is just as self-conscious, and they are more preoccupied with themselves than to care what i am doing.
