First we must believe that every problem has a solution and start finding it. If we fail, it only means that we have misunderstood the problem. Once we start thinking, it becomes difficult to bring the flow of thoughts under our control and take right decisions. In this case, the analytical mind acts as a filter in purifying the contaminated thoughts. At times, it is our own ego, which blocks the flow of our thoughts. When we get a feeling that what we know is right, we obstruct new ideas or information from entering our mind. Pessimism also obstructs the flow of ideas within us. Make sure you disinfect these toxins before they pollute the mainstream information in our mind, thus bringing clarity in our thoughts.

Though we can acquire good knowledge by reading books or while browsing the Internet, we can understand better when we discuss with knowledgeable and experienced people. While working in a team, productivity increases and we can cope with deadlines. We can also generate more ideas to solve problems through group discussions and combined studies. We must keep our senses alert and judge every move of the opponent while planning our actions as in a game of chess. With many twists and turns along the path of life, there is a need for good decision-making. Openness to learning, optimism and alertness are the key skills required to become a good decision maker.
