It was a great movie.

I thought it was okay, the ending saved it for me. I liked the twist otherwise I probably wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I hated it. It was way too sitcomish for me -meaning it took what should be very real problems (lonliness alchoholism) and made them into "cute" 2 dimensional quirks. Plus I thought the ending was idiotic and even more implausable than the characters themselves (spoiler! -if the husband died rather than ran away you would think some one would look for him -his mistress anyone. Or he would start to smell).
