I've been dealing with SA for most of my life, I can't really remember a time when shyness and anxiety haven't been a part of my day. About 3 years ago after dropping out of college I began to realize that I needed to take care of my SA. I saw a therapist and got on some meds..this helped but my SA still has a profound effect on my everyday life.

Little things like making doctors appointments still bother me and I'm sick of it. I've had to do a lot of thinking lately and I've come to the conclusion that if I am to enjoy life and finally get on track I have to kick my anxiety problem for good. The time has come for me to finish the fight and I think joining this forum is going to bring me one step closer to doing that.

I look forward to learning from the community and sharing my exerpience.

Good for you! I hope it helps. I just joined, too, and am already in lighter spirits just knowing you're not the only one dealing with things.
