I cannot seem to muster the right mind for eating for optimal health and energy.
I got the exercise thing happening. Some weights and cardio. It certainly is a discipline frame I cant get into, the nutrition side.

Some 5 years ago I was so lean and toned, but now I'm meadocre, cause I just got thoughts that eating that healthy is so boring and I moaned at the thought of giving up yummy things.

When I've reached my goals in the past, I actually felt internally dissappointed cause I fell into that lull that I would instantly be feeling great cause I looked fit and lean. It didnt happen I took it for granted. If I should go there again, what could I say to myself where I would appreciate the fitness and lean body so I want to stay that way. I have done it before. That satisfying taste in my mouth has to mean less than me wanting to look good. At the moment its not.

Greatful for any affirmations or support
Hope you know what I mean

Yeah its hard to say. I made the jump to a lean diet almost overnight and I can't tell you how or why. If you stick to a lean diet long enough you sometimes get a taste of or sugary soda or something like that that just makes you grossed out or sick. I've found it really comes down to how bad you want it. I guess one day I said to myself I want to be buff. I wanted it so bad I just experimented with lower cal foods I wouldn't mind eating everyday. When it comes to bad foods I just was saying to myself "what do you want more good taste or a good body"

You cant make yourself happy with the external things. I thought I could find happiness just by being fit and healthy but only made me feel comfortable with my weight not happy. I began to slack off my diet and eventually gained more wegiht than I lost and still struggling to reach a healthy weight because I got bored with the same foods. I need to find different recipes from my diet so I wont lose motivation.

The thing I like to do is simply to cut things down. I eat whatever what I want, but if I eat something unhealthy, I try to limit the intake and take out the bad ****. Example is a drink I like, it has some whip cream. I just take half of it out and drink it. When having a pizza, I take a napkin, turn the pizza upside down and let all that grease drain out. Things like that make a big difference.

Also, spacing out how much you eat and eating only to 80% full help as well. Or you lower the percentage and space your meals closer if you want to be really efficient.

Also it might be your routine is becoming stale. Change it up and push yourself harder. If you go through the motions, you'll start to build fat due to the effects of diminishing returns. Gotta change it up.

Some really helpful tips here, thanks. I think I am getting it, finally. I just have to kick the dark chocolate thing. I have a couple of pieces everyday, it is highly addictive. But if I put my head to it, it takes about a full week of no chocolate to kick it.

So taking highly caloric ingredients out of foods that are highly caloric is bad. Gosh man, I didn't realize how stupid this advice was. You are goddamn genius.
