Tell us your dull and unexciting news

I might just go in person Monday after work to schedule an appointment for my car if I can't get in touch with them on my break on the phone.

My online dating profile is set up. Think I just want to be single for awhile and just meet up with a guy or two then have something serious later on. I initiated with a couple of them and got a reply back from both. Didn't think I'd stand a chance with getting a reply back. Lol I didn't think I'd be confident with initiating with them, either. Being single is actually kind of fun.

Well, I woke up a little late for work this morning. Got to work 20 minutes late. Oh well.

Extremely windy today. So far, I've seen two garbage bins tumbling and rolling down the street. For the past hour, I saw a few tumbleweeds rolling by. I've never seen any around here from what I remembered. I have no idea where they would've come from.

Maybe they were Bob Ross wigs from some nearby costume shop.

I made some enchiladas for dinner tonight. I had a craving for them and haven't made them in a while.

My shamrock shake was almost all the way melted. 😆 But it's good like that, too.

The wind has already toppled quite a few trees around town today. So far, all of them have been eucalyptus trees. I always thought these trees are ticking time bombs.

Some man at the laundromat took out my clothes from the dryer for me. Lol I felt a little uncomfortable with that. 🤣

Gotta pay the taxes on my trailer some time. It wasn't even 40 dollars. I wasn't expecting it to be that low. Lol

Got hired for a job that I went on an interview for this week.

It got up to 81 degrees today. It was a bit humid but yesterday was more humid. That on top of the heat I have to deal with from the steam at work when I'm cleaning makes it rough.

Security had to force this Mexican guy at my job out cause he refused to leave for some reason. He got in trouble for something but idk what exactly so hes not working there anymore. Never know who's gonna work there I guess. 🤷‍♀️ lol

I had people escorted of the premises of my work place before. The worst a member of the cleaning staff who decided to stab another person in our break room.

Finally found a pair of new housemates for the vacant bedroom upstairs after months. They're friends with the existing couple I live with. Living with now two couples in this dynamic should be interesting.

Guess I'm having bubblegum for breakfast. Lol

I just found my wedding ring in the dirty clothes basket. I posted about losing it a couple of months ago. How it managed to stay in there with me dumping laundry in the washing machine every week I have no idea, but today it dumped out with the clothes.

trying to spin things back into things people judged me for into something that would be a positive change for me personally. Personal growth not motivated by the opinions of others but because it's positive change.

That slaughterhouse smelled bad when I drove by this morning. 🤢
