I need some advise. How do you know when a friend is the sort of friend you can open up to. I there is someone at my work who has become a good friend (my view only I could be wrong) that I would really like to be able to talk to, but I don't know how to even start a conversation on something like SA, and I could not cope with loosing a friend. yes I know the saying that a real friend would not be put off but that does not make it any easer.

If someone is being very sincere and when someone has the heart to tell you the truth. Be open to start the conversation, but id say use your judgement as well. I'd would careful share about SA. I just would have to feel comfortable to tell someone. can't always trust someone out of the blue.
