So, my family is dragging me out to Disneyland tomorrow. I always said that I'd never be able to go there again (stuck in line with a bunch of children who'll probably ask if I'm a boy or a girl.. while their parents freak out) but my family is suckering my dying grandpa into going. It'll definitely be a unique family experience that will never happen again and they bought me a ticket so I'd go as well. On the plus side, my mom somehow talked customer service into giving us free magic moments passes that make it so we don't have to wait in line the entire day.
This is one of my biggest fears and if I can get through this I think I'll be able to do anything. But right now I'm really scared.
Have any tips or ideas?
I'm bringing along a couple books and an MP3 player. I always liked the Tom Sawyer island, but I need to find some more peaceful (and solitary) places to retreat to or I risk a panic attack. One of my biggest concerns is going to the restroom; I need to find a private or gender neutral restroom there.
I remember whenever I'd go to a theme park when growing up I'd be so happy just to get on the ride so I could have some privacy and see some pretty scenery. For this reason almost every ride I've been on has been a peaceful, scenic, experience compared to being around so many people in the line.
