Support Meetings
will consist of general discussion about living with social anxiety. The intention is for people of all ages to meet and talk about their experience with SA. You can participate at your own pace. If you just want to sit and watch, that is perfectly okay.

Exposure Meetings will consist of various SA exposure challenges that will help the recovery process. The intention is to provide a safe and supportive environment for challenging your social anxiety. Exposure therapy is a crucial part of overcoming social anxiety. The more you practice a situation, the more you desensitize your anxiety. The tough part is finding a safe place to do it-that's what this group aims to provide.

There is no cost to join this group.

Albany Group Update

Hello all,

I started this group nearly a year ago. It has been a great experience for me personally, and I think most people are finding the group to be helpful. One change to the group is we've added a third type of meeting: Social Meeting--which is for simply getting together and doing something social.

If you have questions you can contact me at: [email protected]

Otherwise, you can visit our group page: meetup.com/SASG-Albany

Thanks!

Rich
