I was in a somewhat bad car accident few months ago, I got caught in a bad rainstorm on highway and my car started spinning right in the middle of interstate and slammed sideways into the crash barrier which almost sent my car rolling down the hill. Once the shock wore off I found myself shaking pretty bad, until someone stopped and helped me. I was fine for a while, but in the last month I've been having really bad panic attacks on the road, like I get this horrible feeling and that neuseating weight in the pit of my stomach and I can feel a cold shiver run down my spine. Its almost like I'm anticipating something bad to happen the whole time on the road and when I get home, I realize how hard my heart is beating and I'm just a mess. Its like my social anxiety has mostly dissipated and now I have this nightmare to deal with..

Do you think it will get better with time?

I feel for you. I don't have any advice because I stopped driving altogether because of my ADD, but I have been where you are. :hug
