thats awesome, odun.
keep at it and don't give up. Quitting alcohol was the best thing i ever did for myself.
Now i'm the one in control, not alcohol, and and it feels good.
i had almost seven months with no use and relapsed....now i have four months sober ....its very hard to stay clean for me...just remember every day clean is a miracle
I have been sober 6 months now. By sober I mean I haven't drunk more than 3 beers when I'm going out (or watching a game with a friend), which is rather rare anyways.
Congratulations Oden! For me staying sober (I've got 9 months now) is truly still a one-day at a time experience. I'm glad you got help, having support has made my sobriety a lot easier.
If I had a reason to stop (a significant girlfriend, for example), I'd probably cut my drinking by 3/4 or almost stop. But I haven't had any luck finding anyone. I've had a lot of time to myself lately and it feels impossible to avoid alcohol when you're so lonely.
