Okay, me and my step mum have a some what, complicated relationship and I'm thinking that something needs to be finally done. Basically, we are totally opposite to one another. She is loud, strong, chatty, abrupt, and sometimes insensitive, whereas I am very quiet, very sensitive, scared and shy. She just doesn't get social anxiety at all. She knows I'm seeing a psychologist for therapy, but she just seems to think that there isn't a problem. She thinks that the reason I don't really talk to her, is because I don't like her, which isn't the case. The reason I don't talk to her is because I'm so terrified. I feel such a huge amount of pressure to make conversation, because she is so chatty, but I just can't do it. I really need help with this, I feel like she's just going to talk about me behind my back, and talk about what I said and stuff. How do I get past this?

Thanks.
