maybe try keeping a thought record. write down your initial thoughts of the scenario and then try to correct them from a more realistic viewpoint. write out all the positive things that having this job can do for YOU. try to keep this positive outlook - but you need to work at it. I have been in a similar situation and it can be ubearable at times, i know.

Believe in yourself and others will follow. In time it WILL get better. think of other times in your life that you persevered and eventually you became more comfortable.

Also try to take solace in the fact that you are feeling these feelings because you are taking a risk and that means you are pushing yourself to move outside of your comfort zone. you're living life and that is AMAZING!

be good to yourself and give yourself patience and understanding.
