I started experiencing feelings of anxiety (due to hormones I think thanks to contraception) this caused me to feel sick a lot and have no appetite, a few times during this period I went out for meals and could not eat. Thankfully after sometime I got over this anxiety but am now finding I’m experiencing anxiety and panic when going out to eat in social settings, it’s more of a panic of what if I get anxious and can’t eat what will others think rather than an issue with the food or eating. Has anyone else experienced this or have any tips on how to deal? Thank you

Just sharing experience but I used to be quite shy as well. However, I a good meal always cheered my mood and by then I realized that anxiety was stopping me from doing a lot of things that made me happy so albeit it was a small step I thought of eating in public as reclaiming myself from what anxiety was taking from me.
