The only thing I can think of off hand is to use the same program, same version that you initialy used to burn the CD with, and idealy on the same computer, OS that you used. Eliminate any program issues first. If you can try it on the same computer, that elimiates any cd read/writer that might be causing it.
Lastly, at least on windows, pop the CD in the drive, right click on the cd drive in "my computer" and click explore, see whats on there.....<shrug>

the program i used was free. there's a lot of very good free software. ask on those forums i posted before you give up, if it was my disc, i would barrel ahead with NO DOUBT that i could recover it :p
