Anyone interested in meeting up for a gathering in the orange county area?

I have an idea for a place to go. At the Huntington Beach pier there's going to be a pro surfing contest and also some skateboarding, bmx, and motorcross stuff going on as well and the best thing about it is its all free. It usually draws a ton of people so it may be a little chaotic with the huge crowd but I think it would be a fun thing to do. I was planning on going there by myself but if anyone else is interested in going, we could meet up and make it a gathering.

The whole thing goes on from July 22 to July 31. I was thinking of going on July 30. Let me know what you guys think and if you would like to go. It would be cool to meet some knew people.

On second thought, the surf contest is a bad idea. It would be just way to crowded for us to meet up, not knowing what we all look like and parking would be hell.

I'd be cool with the BBQ idea.

Me and a few other people are planing an SA get together in LA. There's 2 threads, one under "support groups" and another under "connections". If any of you socal people are able to get to LA then let's finally put a date to this and stick with it!
