I am a journalism student and I have had a really hard time in the past completing assignments and going to class because of SA. A couple of days ago I was faced with an in class assignment where I had to go out and interview three strangers on campus and write a story in the span of an hour. Normally, I would have pretended to leave to do the assignment and just taken a zero and went home. But I actually managed to keep a positive attitude and to my suprise I was able to do it. I may not have been the smoothest, but nevertheless I did it and it felt really good.

That is so great!! Interviewing strangers. WOW.

You have the makings of a great journalist, I can tell. You won't even let SA get in the way of your work. FANTASTIC accomplishment. :)

Thanks everyone. It really means a lot to hear from people who understand. I tried to explain to my mom, but she just didn't get how hard that was for me.

:thanks
