First time I ever mentioned this on here and I feel stupid doing it, but I cut for a good while. I've stopped, mostly, even though I still have times when the urge is so great...
Don't be ashamed. I've read up on it a lot, which is what my therapist told me to do, maybe you should, too. I also told my sister, but then she told my mother.

I don't feel like saying much on this subject right now. Sorry, I couldn't be of more help.

ehh. I do it occasionally, mostly when I'm very frustrated and feel the need to react, to do something that is real. This sounds weird but I somehow appreciate that I'm violating myself- destroying something.

Anyways, I was drunk and told my friend once and she said she did too. I felt very ashamed and embarrassed after that because she treats it as a badge of honour...she (admittedly) thinks it is cool and that is her "quirk" and i hate the fact that i'm technically in the same "social category" as a person who would treat it as a tool to manipulate others.

So. That was VERY coherent.
