Sometimes I get extremely depressed due to my SA. I feel very isolated and frustrated that it seems to never change. What do you do to help pull yourself back up when you get depressed about SA?

I keep telling myself that things can change and that I will not give up and I will try whatever treatment is available that might change things for me.

I agree that it is hard to keep up the fight sometimes in the midst of depression and seeming futility. But what else can you do?

I try and keepp a broad perspective on things, which can be difficult at times. I do believe change is possible, but I get frustrated at the time it takes. It may be helpful to read about those who have had bad illnesses or experiences but have overcome them, such as Helen Keller, and there are many modern day examples.
