Random Thoughts and Observations You Had Today

What Are You Thinking About Right Now? and Random Thought of The Day were recently merged because of how similar they were. I don’t think many people saw a difference between them, but some people might think of one as being for your current thought and one as being for a random thought you had that day.

I’m making this to replace Random Thought of The Day in a way that makes it more different to What Are You Thinking About Right Now? and it is in Just For Fun.

If you thought something weird/random like “I wonder how many drops of water it takes to fill a bath“ or “Why don’t rolls of wrapping paper have a little metal cutter like rolls of foil?” you can post it here. :)

I like how my cat watched me sweep the floor. Or rather, she was looking at the broom moving. Lol

It always cracks me up to see and think about this. Sometimes I watch youtube videos of people who have pets just to see the pets reacting to what their humans are doing. Especially when it's a new thing the pet hasn't seen before.

My dad is completely obsessed with the laundry. Which is weird because he washes the hell out of his clothes until he wears them out in a short time and then they look terrible when he goes somewhere. Why would anyone deliberately wear their clothes out? I could maybe attribute it to Covid but he was doing this for years before Covid.

You realise your best days are most likely behind you when the attractive young lady cutting your hair asks if you'd like her to trim your eyebrows too.

Wait until she asks you if you'd like her to trim your ear and nose hair.

Fortunately I already do that myself in the privacy of my own home.
My anxiety and depression stayed away today. Was a very pleasant surprise.

Very often lately when I go out I get manic when I'm trying to talk to anyone. I don't know why but my meds are most likely a bit low. It's a horrible feeling - you have to struggle not to say anything weird, and today was worse than usual. I felt almost like I was really starting to lose it. Went and had some lunch and called my wife so I managed to calm down.

I really don't want to go on more heavy meds - I hate them.

So do I but I can barely keep up with it. Seems like I just trimmed my nose hair not long ago and my nostrils are already trying to grow their own mustache.

I get uncomfortable when people offer me food only because I don't trust people. Some lady offered me free food for lunch but then she acted like she lost something so I just left. Lol
I kind of want to take a DNA test, like ancestry .com or 23 and me, even though both my parents and their parents and I'm sure their parents are from the same country and continent for ages.
Haven't flushed the toilets since Wednesday.💩

I live alone so I often just leave it if it’s number one for a while as saves on the water usage overall, I just keep the lid down so the smell isn’t wafting into the air

I need to get my cat spayed next week. I think thats why she's been getting out of the house. Lol She seems to be going through the cabinet doors in my bathroom. I blocked one part that didn't have a door on it and she left it alone but she knows how to open the doors on the other part. I think there may be a hole she's getting through in there.

She's left a few times and I didn't realize until recently that could be why. But she'll always come back when she's hungry enough. And her collar must've come off in the woods cause it's not on her anymore.

I had a similar thing happen once when I tried to move away from home and was renting a place. I wasn't supposed to have a pet but I couldn't help it. The cat just showed up at my door meowing for food when it was cold and I took it in.

So the cat kept getting out and I couldn't figure it out. I'd go out and come back and he'd just be gone. Come to find out the man I was renting the place from had a spare key and was going in there and putting the cat out when I was gone. It really annoyed me because the cat was fully litter box trained and I changed it religiously. The cat wasn't hurting anything. And plus, he wouldn't have known the cat was in there unless he went in without my permission in the first place so that creeped me out. Then when I moved out, he wouldn't give my security deposit back even though I didn't owe him any rent and there was zero damage. I was 20 years old and really needed that deposit.

I only left it unflushed for a few days currently until a few hours ago, due to the main sewer line on our street being broken. So the whole block probably hasn't flushed as well.

I use to leave #1s for a day too when I had my own attached bathroom in my room. Water usage price here are expensive.
It's really windy today. I just walked back from my mum's as it's safer than riding it took almost 3 hours. On the way passed loads of people jogging. One woman in particular was wearing just shorts a top and trainers and every bit of her skin that was exposed was bright pink from the cold. When I got into town there was this guy who was walking up the street just wearing flip flops, in this weather 😮

The minimum to spay my cat is 125. I'm calling the other one tomorrow and if that doesn't work out I'm going with the one I called today. I might end up paying 200. But it's got to get done.
I can't believe that I only just added bluetooth capability to my PC like a year or two ago. Before that, I was using strictly wired headphones for years that I had to take off and put back on every time I moved more than a couple of feet from the desk. Since I did that, I found a reasonably comfortable pair of bluetooth headphones that have a 50 hour battery and it's been bliss. Sound quality is slightly less but I don't really notice.

Now I want a super comfortable pair of bluetooth headphones with at least a 50 hour battery. I just don't want to pay $300 for them.
