There are a few games I want that are out for PSP but not available for PS2... so I'm considering to get the portable. Only thing is, I've heard there is some sort of 'bug' on the system...? Something about having large red dots appear on the screen while a game is in play. I'm not a tech person so I can't really go into more details than that...Can anyone who owns a PSP confirm this flaw?

If you're referring to the dead pixels then i wouldnt worry about it. I think if they are bad enough then u can get it replaced. My gba has dead pixels, while playing i cant even notice them. I even have bubbles on my screen from doing the afterburner installation, i dont even notice them.

All screens have dead pixels, i wouldnt worry about it.

Uh... that's not true at all. Very few screens have dead pixels, though manufacturers usually have some minimum number of dead pixels before they'll replace the screen.

But it is rare. Over the years, I've probably used over 20 million pixels of LCD screenage, and I've only had one that was stuck on red out of all of them.
