Well, I have joined this website on December 28th, 2012. And I have had some fun in the forums and the chat room. Not really acknowledged, but still made a few acquaintances. From Failed101 all the way to everyones hated enemy, Alice. I don't think this website is for me, since about 90% of you suffer from social anxiety, and I just have anxiety in certain situations. The chatroom has become cluttered and filled with trolls. Not blaming the mods for anything, but someone finds a way to beat the system. I haven't really made friends, and the ones I claim to be friends with, do not acknowledge me in any way. I thought I was here to make friends, and possibly meet a person or two around my area. It doesn't seem it's gonna happen. Within a week, I find myself excluding myself from this website. Sorry if this sounds emo, and I bet a lot of you don't know me. Wasn't sure where to post this, but I thought the Introductions would be a decent spot.

I think the main appeal is to discuss things in the forums. I'd like to make friends here but it's a forum so the process is a lot different from a social networking site where the main function is socialising. I dropped into the chat and left a minute later lol.. Not for me.

I'm sure there are probably forums for general anxiety where you'd feel more at home. Good luck. But maybe stick around for a little while and use the forums more.

Aww :(.
Although i've only known you for a short while, I hope you have a better chance somewhere.
Sometimes certain sites aren't for certain people, and that's fine.
But, I think it's too early for you to go. There's varying degrees of social anxiety, from severe to somewhat mild. I'm sure there's a person that can are more comfortable in certain situations than others. Some are just a lot more invisible here at the forums, so it takes a lot more digging. What i'm trying to say here, I guess, is keep trying. It may take weeks or even months to find that certain someone that you can relate to, but it's possible :).
Anyways, if you still decide to go somewhere, take this:

I hope you come back!

Hey atal, I haven't known you for long but all i can say is i hope you find a better place for your particular anxiety. I've only been here for two days and i know the chat room can be a hectic place with lots of different people and everyone is kind of fighting to be heard. With all this its very easy for people to not acknowledge you but I'm sure that they will really miss you and remember the short but good times they had with you. I'm sure if you stay a bit longer you will find someone in your area that you can become acquainted with. I know this person from a small town in North Carolina who recently found someone in his area and in about a couple weeks. Anyways, It's been nice knowing you. Whatever decision you make, is for the best.

P.S I'm sorry if i ever was a troll and not just to you. I didn't mean it. I make mistakes that i regret all the time, but i try to learn from them.
