Ok, this is an oldie but it is still one of my favorites. I did it when I was 17 and
BIG SURPRISE :shock ...never finished it.

I have made up faces to draw and stuff but I really enjoy trying to capture the likeness of something or someone. The horse I saw in a picture but it was wearing a bridle and I decided to draw it without one. Just looks freer I think.


BTW, it's hard to grasp size in these pics but this drawing is actually about 27" by 18"

That's really beautiful. Personally, I prefer the drawings that are 'partial' .. the ones that seem to fade, or look kind of incomplete.

Thanks quietstorm. No it's not watercolor. It was done in pastel which is a kind of colored chalk.
