i just recently (a few weeks ago) found out that the way i collapse after giving presentations is actually a panic attack. i will almost 100% reliably have a panic attack during and/or after speaking/performing/presenting in front of a group or accepting a certificate/award... i guess i'm just wondering what triggers panic attacks for others.

Mine are more somewhat random as to when they show but the trigger is always compound stressors. Like when I am stuggling financially it has been on my mind for sometime then there is a paper or project coming up or some sort of date, new girlfriend, or potential outting of some sort. These things usually stay on the back of my mind and I try to keep them in line but usually when the thoughts of one get bad and the panic begins the other things all come up at once. Next thing I know I can't sleep which adds a new problem. Then the next day I am super tired but have the responsibilities and obligations of that day to get to before I can rest continueing the streak.

Just writing this, I feel like I am about to have a panic attack...
